The Un-aired Pilot of the Television Series seemed to be based on the games more than what it became. The similarities to the games could stem from that the TV series was announced around the same time as Tak 3, so these ideas were originally brought

Trivia[]

  • Footage of the pilot was used in a promotional video to celebrate the television series as Nickelodean's 30th Nicktoon.
    • Judging by the clips in the video, it appears that the pilot may have had more episodes produced before being restructured into the final series.
  • The depiction of Jeera's original design in the artwork below is actually traced artwork of Flora's concept art from the first Tak game.

Differences[]

  • Tak has his appearance of the games, his same Design, His same Personality and his Model is the same exact one used to make the promotional renders for Tak 2 and 3 and uses The Staff of Dreams instead of Darkness Juju's Staff.
  • Lok has his original outfit and his same design of the games.
  • A chicken island tribesman is seen.
  • Jeera, Keeko, and the Chief have different designs than the final show.
    • The article were the image of the pilot is from (now gone) revealed that Keeko was voiced by Tommy Davidson and Jeera was voiced by Colleen O'Shaughnessey
  • The first game's logo is used.
  • There is an original Juju named The Colonel.

Similarities[]

  • Hal Sparks still voiced Tak.
  • Patrick Warburton still voiced Lok.
  • Dead Juju is still renamed Party Juju, however his name is revealed to be Wally.
  • The clip above is only a snippet of the original Pilot (A TV Show Pilot is usually 11 minutes long.) but it seems that the formula for the show still applies: Tak tries to save the village, it backfires, so he tries to get the Jujus to help him out.
  • This episode was probably cut and scrapped early, so the episode is not complete.
